The creators of this foundation(the SSC) are Aniruddh Mishra, Saket Mugunda, and Benton Hamrick. We are all 7th graders from Pearson Ranch Middle School. We have always been firm believers that homelessness and hunger are major issues in our society today. However, we have never really done anything to help these struggling people out. We chose to raise awareness for this situation because even though there are many foundations to help the homeless (Foundation for the Homeless, Green Doors, Front Steps, etc), very few of them actually make a decent impact on the issue. However, we are trying to do more than that. Our goal is to nearly end homelessness in all of Austin. We know it a big task, but as students from the Pearson Ranch Middle School, we know it is in our power to achieve anything.
